(this is just a test post from easyblog and we are not really open yet.

We now have the basic structure of our site set up and it's time to open the site so we can see how the components will function in an actual setting.   We have the following features we are testing:

1.  Our main online newspaper which utilizes Joomla!

2.  Our community which utilizes JomSocial.

3.  Blogs!  What would a community site be without blogs?  You can either visit the individual blogs or catch all the entries on one blog portal.  Our blog sites utilize EasyBlog on the Joomla portion of our site, and Wordpress on our network of blogs.

4. And the reason we created the newspaper to begin with?  It's our documentary.  We write about what it's like to have a huge dream, but no capital to work with.  We have to learn what the next step is, how to do it, how to pay for it, then we go out and do the best we can to earn the money to pay for the next portion of our plan.  Our coffee house documentary is made with Wordpress platform and Atahualpa theme by Bytesforall.

We chose the Atahualpa theme because of it's customization features, it's 1 to 4 column layout and because it's the best theme we could find to do everything we want.

Now that the basic structure is in place, we can work on adding content, tweaking the design, and setting up our project sections.  In the meantime, we are working on a contract to earn money so we can start renovation of the coffee house.

WELCOME

Welcome to Kudzu Jungle.  This is a documentary about Our Little Coffee House and journey of Wesley & Colleen Crawford as they learn a new trade, start and run a coffee house, and document the journey of other entrepreneurs they meet along the way.

We are building our site with content at this time.  We just launched January 1!  We are using JomSocial as our community forum.  Our community is by and for entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, homesteaders, aquaponics, and other topics we find interesting.

We will also be writing about our business model in an open source manner.  We hope our journey will help others.
